About MedBAR.ai

MedBAR.ai built the flight simulator for clinical reasoning.

Medicine never documented its most important layer. The knowledge is in the textbooks, but the reasoning (what to ask, what to order, what to rule out, when to act) was never captured at the scale needed to learn from it. So it has always passed from expert to student one case at a time: at the bedside during residency, and today, in much the same way, in the training of frontier models. That is the layer we build for.

What began as research at the Technion and Rambam is now a live commercial product with leading medical faculties, a national examination body, top U.S. healthcare networks and the leading AI systems. The same platform trains and evaluates students, residents and experts, and evaluates the top AI systems and foundation models before and after they go live.

We are a small team built for talent density: scientists who have shipped before, clinicians who know the decisions made at the bedside, and senior healthcare executives from the U.S. and Israel.

Why join

  • The stakes are real. Our scores help decide whether an AI system is ready to see patients, and whether a resident is ready to decide alone. Your products are judged in the field, not in a demo.
  • No layers. You work directly with everyone in the company and with our close partners, and you own what you build, in production.
  • The hard problems are open. Multi-agent systems reasoning through medicine, measured against physicians. Most of what breaks has not been written up anywhere yet. That is the job.

The role

The Clinical Product Director turns what physicians, medical schools and U.S. health systems need into deep tech clinical AI solutions and platforms that work in the real world. You sit where medicine, product and R&D meet, and you own what we build from the first partner conversation to live deployment.

As Clinical Product Director, you will:

  • Lead product with U.S. healthcare partners. Work directly with health systems, academic medical centers and medical schools to understand their clinical and operational needs, and shape them into products, pilots and deployments.
  • Define what we build. Own the roadmap for our clinical AI solutions and platforms, from discovery and requirements through launch and adoption, balancing partner needs, clinical value and technical feasibility.
  • Bridge clinicians and R&D. Translate clinical workflows and reasoning into clear product requirements, and work hands-on with engineers, data scientists and AI researchers on how the product should behave.
  • Move multidisciplinary teams and partners. Bring clinicians, engineers, academic collaborators and partner teams to shared outcomes, often without formal authority.
  • Measure what matters. Define success with each partner, track adoption and impact, and feed what you learn back into the product.

Must-haves

  • Team player and collaborator. No ego. You enjoy building together and make the people around you better.
  • Problem solver who likes the fun of it: the interaction, the debugging, the building.
  • MD degree.
  • 3+ years of proven experience building AI and digital health products, from concept through launch, in a product management or product leadership role.
  • Proven experience working with U.S. healthcare partners, such as health systems, academic medical centers, medical schools or payers.
  • Hands-on leader who bridges strategy and day-to-day execution, and turns big ideas into shipped breakthroughs.
  • Proven track record of pushing multidisciplinary teams and external partners to deliver.
  • Technical fluency: you go deep with engineers and data scientists on how a product works and why it behaves the way it does.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving startup, and you enjoy it.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on clinical experience, such as residency training or practice as a physician.
  • Experience with AI, LLM-based or clinical decision support products in production.
  • Experience with medical education, simulation-based training or clinical assessment.
  • Familiarity with how U.S. health systems evaluate, buy and adopt technology, including HIPAA and compliance requirements.
